Terms & Conditions

Terms and service agreements governing the deployment, use, and subscription of CAIMS.

Agreement Overview: These Terms govern the use of the CAIMS school management system, an authorized software service developed by Isaech Solutions. Last updated: 5 January 2026.

1 Services Provided

CAIMS provides cloud-hosted school management services, including:

  • Academic record management and ZIMSEC/Cambridge report card generation.
  • Financial accounting, multi-currency fee tracking (USD & ZWG), and receipt printing.
  • Automated communication tools (WhatsApp and SMS parent notification gateways).
  • Cloud portal access for administrators, teachers, and bursars.

2 Account & School Responsibilities

  • •Credential Confidentiality: Schools are responsible for securing administrative passwords and restricting access to authorized personnel.
  • •Data Accuracy: The Client (School) is solely responsible for the accuracy of student records, exam marks, and fee entry balances.
  • •Compliance: The school must adhere to applicable educational guidelines and data protection legislation in Zimbabwe.

3 Subscriptions, Billing & Currencies

  • •Termly Billing: Subscriptions are billed per school term (or annually upfront with a 5% discount).
  • •Currencies: Invoices may be settled in USD or ZWG per the prevailing interbank rate at invoicing.
  • •Settlement Terms: Subscription fees are payable upon term commencement. Access may be suspended if invoices remain overdue beyond 30 days.

4 Data Ownership & Intellectual Property

  • •School Data Ownership: All student profiles, financial entries, and reports remain the exclusive property of the Client school.
  • •System IP: The CAIMS software, source code, workflows, and branding are the intellectual property of Isaech Solutions.
  • •Backups & Retention: Backups are retained on a rolling 14-day cycle. Schools are also supported to export Excel reports periodically.

5 System Availability & Support

We maintain a target of 99.9% uptime for our cloud servers. Support is provided during school business hours via WhatsApp (+263 78 324 3738) and Email ([email protected]).

6 Domain Names & Hosting

  • •CAIMS Subdomain: Free standard subdomains (e.g. schoolname.caims.co.zw) with free automated SSL certificates.
  • •Custom Domain: Supported for client-owned domains (e.g. portal.yourschool.co.zw) with custom DNS configuration.

7 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
